Samsung branded supplies under the HP brand

In November 2017 HP Inc. completed the acquisition of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s printer business.

By no later than November 1st, 2022, HP will offer all Samsung branded toners and printing supplies for Samsung branded printers under the HP brand.

While the toner box may look a little different, your customers can continue to print with confidence knowing that the toner cartridges have the same quality they have always trusted, only now they have the HP name and logo.

The product numbers and printer compatibility will stay the same.

TIMING

• As of this month, your customers will begin to see a flyer in the current Samsung packaging making them aware of the upcoming re-branding.
• By mid-summer the new packaging will start to ship with the HP logo.
• Before November 1st, 2022, HP’s online content will be updated to reflect the change.
  A follow-up communication will let you know when the updated content will be ready to share.
• By November 1st, 2022, HP will ship only rebranded products.
• HP will not accept returns of Samsung branded toners and printing supplies due to re-branding. Products may only be returned as per HP standard return policy.
